The participants to the study were adult language learners in a private language school in Japan. The focused group discussion, composed of an intermediate level IELTS preparation course, was conducted in order to collect the students’ spontaneous responses to the expected roles and benefits of NET and LET. As a result, the comments from students implied that authenticity and error corrections were associated as the benefits of NET instruction while anxiety and fear of failing communication were the concerns. The LET were expected to pass the learning strategy as successful former learners, yet their approach to classroom was less appreciated compared to NET.}, pages = {45--53}, title = {ネイティブ英語講師と邦人英語講師に対する英語学習者のニーズと関心}, volume = {54}, year = {2020}, yomi = {キタ, タマミ} }
